Research on digipaks

I researched digipacks online and discovered that there were different types. You can get digipacks for music singles and albums as well as digipacks for films. Digipaks consists of a gate fold paperboard or card outer binding, with one or more plastic trays which are capable of holding a CD or DVD attached to the inside. Digipack-style packaging is often used for CD singles or special editions of CD albums and the tall DVD Digipack is used as premium package for DVDs and DVD sets.

CD Digipaks are especially popular in the music industry for CD albums as well as multiple CD disc sets. CD Digipaks give a product an expensive professional look and feel – especially when well-designed CD artwork is combined with clever use of specialist print. DVD digipaks are constructed in exactly the same was as a CD Digipak but whereas the CD Digipak has the dimensions of a standard CD case the DVD DigiPack is a similar size to a normal style DVD case.

The DVD DigiPack is a modern, stylish alternative to the standard DVD case. DigiPacks have been a popular choice in the retail industry for packaging DVD box sets and CD Albums and give a product an expensive professional look and feel.
